Difference between Skin Boosters and Derma Fillers

What are the main difference between skin boosters and derma fillers?

Whilst both containing hyaluronic acid (HA) as the main ingredient, they are not interchanged when it comes to offering skin ageing treatments, they behave in a different way.

Skin boosters are not cross-linked so they are usually much thinner in consistency and have a greater spread. Generally, skin boosters can soften fine lines, hydrate and improve the texture and condition of the skin.

On the other hand, dermal fillers are generally used when voluminsation, contouring, or augmentation is required in specific areas of the face such as cheeks with a line, chin or lips.
